Garlic Beans
1 or 2 cans French-cut or whole green beans
1 med. onion, sliced
5 cloves garlic, cut in half
1/2 C. sugar
1 C. vinegar
1 C. canola oil
1/2 tsp. salt
Drain beans; place in casserole with onion and garlic. Sprinkle with sugar; let stand for 2 to 3 hr..
Blend remaining ingredients; pour over beans. Cover; refrigerate for 24 hr..
Drain before servings.
Makes approximately 10 to 12 servings.
